Detailed Problem Description
(Include Screen Shots if required )Why both PO (4500121049) and Production order created for same sales order.
Investigate all the changes happened to sales orders to see why both PO and planned order got created.
Solution Analysis and Recommendations
(Include Screen Shots if required)There are 4 Line items in the sales order (2194669) out of which the first two lines items are rejected by a Rejection Reason (Z2).
The Third and Fourth line items are having the same Material with same quantities, Initially the Plant was also same for both the items, later the plant is changed for item 40 to from 8010 to 0110.
The Purchase Order 4500121049 item 50 is created for the sales order 2194669 Item 30, the planned orders are generated for item 40 by MRP (as plant is changed form 8010 making item cat from TAB to TAN which made this material to be participated in MRP)
There were no additional proposals created for the Sales order by MRP, unless it is a human error.
There is no inconsistency for the planned order 0015804266 with the material 70263621 and plant 0110. If we look at the MD04 Proposals (Production Orders) are already generated against the sales order for which we are trying to convert the planned order to Prd Order.
Here is the screen shot of the MD04 which is showing additional proposals are being created for the same requirement (SO 2194669)
The additional proposals (Prd Orders/Planned Orders) may be created by users as it is found that the planned order we are talking about is manually created by DIABRO not by MRP.
Resolution
Informed Babu that the conversion of the Planned order is not possible as it is a MTO planned order and a Production order is already created for that Sales order which is restricting the conversion of the planned order.
There are no duplicate proposals created for the above Demand Sales Order 2194669.
